About Peak Schools

Our Mission

Helping independent schools create and sustain a competitive advantage.

Our Principles
At Peak Schools, we have an unrelenting passion to exceed client expectations at every turn. This pursuit of excellence is an ongoing ambition that involves a handful of core principles that guide our every action.

Improve our Client’s Performance Significantly
We aim to help schools make significant improvements to their overall performance by tackling their most challenging issues. We do so by providing tools, resources and knowledge that provides our clients with a sustainable competitive advantage.

Adhere to the Highest Professional Standards
Our reputation is our most important asset. We uphold and engage in ethical behavior in all circumstances. We do the right thing with conviction, candor, compassion and courage. Integrity is our highest ideal, which we implement each day through our actions and honest communication.

Business People with Consulting Knowledge
We are business people first, we look through the lens of a CEO to create tools and solutions. We believe that our business experience coupled with our consulting background allows us to develop practical solutions and actionable advice. Peak Schools is an educational group that is being developed to provide a number of services to schools both public and private. Bernadette and Scott Brogan have been involved with business consulting and the development of business products for the past  30 years. Bob Shirley has been involved with independent education since 1965 and has been very involved with a pubic school project in the early 90’s that was associated with the Coalition of Essential Schools out of Providence Rhode Island (now located in Oakland, California). Resumes for the three principals can be found on this website.

Fundraising

Most independent schools could benefit from a few donor management tips. We all know that people give money to people, not to organizations. That is why it is so important for schools to target their potential large donors and figure out ways to draw them into the community that is the organization.

When a large donor feels comfortable with the people involved, they will feel comfortable contributing to the success of those people.

Everyone in your school needs to understand the urgency of sharing their enthusiasm with their networks of potential donors. We would love to share with you the number of ways that this can be done.

Management

Do you know that many independent schools do not have policies and procedures to help run the day to day business of the school? We have many solutions for you that will help your school run more efficiently and make your staff successful. We offer several products including Accounting and Financial, Fundraising, Curriculum, Human Resources policies and procedures. Tell us what you need and we can easily provide information and resources to help you.

Marketing Help

Do you need help marketing your school?

Good marketing begins within an organization and relies on collaboration. While many equate marketing with advertising and promotion, making the most of external initiatives begins with a cohesive and collaborative internal effort. The most effective school marketers recognize the power of partnerships among key internal stakeholders, including faculty, admissions, development and staff. Integrating departmental functions is not only good leadership and management — it’s great marketing. By listening carefully to those you seek to serve, making sure all stakeholders understand their roles, and putting the right technology infrastructure in place to support communication, schools can foster strong internal collaboration that helps to advance their missions.
